Dr. Ravi Parekh, MBBS, MEd, FHEA – Senior Medical Education Advisor

Ravi ParekhDr. Ravi Parekh is a senior clinical academic and practicing GP with a deep commitment to medical education, innovation, and widening participation. With over 12 years of experience, he has become a leading voice in education research and practice. As Director of MEdIC (Medical Education Innovation & Research Centre), founded at Imperial College London in 2019, Ravi has developed award-winning programmes and led international collaborations focused on improving access, inclusion, and training in medical education.

Dr. Parekh was awarded the Imperial College President’s Medal for Teaching Innovation in 2022 and is widely recognized for his leadership in pioneering models such as the Integrated Clinical Apprenticeship. His expertise spans curriculum design, student support, assessment, and longitudinal learning. He also plays a key role in outreach programmes like WATCCH, helping students from underrepresented backgrounds access healthcare careers.

In addition to his academic roles, he has recently joined Sky Pharmacy as a Senior Medical Education Advisor, where he supports the development of accessible, evidence-based educational content and advises on healthcare communication strategies. His passion for equity in healthcare and education, combined with his hands-on experience and academic insight, helps ensure our users receive trusted information and meaningful support.

Dr. Nicholas Sawh, MD – Medical Advisor

Nicholas Sawh, MDDr. Nicholas Sawh is a doctor with clinical experience across several NHS trusts in the UK, including cardiology, trauma & orthopaedics, acute medicine, and emergency care. After earning his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Medical University – Sofia, he gained valuable experience through multiple placements at renowned institutions, such as Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and Royal Free London, and Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals. His hands-on roles have given him a well-rounded view of patient care in both high-pressure and outpatient settings.

Now part of our team as a Medical Advisor, Dr. Sawh contributes his expertise to assist in the development and evaluation of content. With his background in UK healthcare and a strong foundation in internal medicine, he helps ensure that the information and guidance provided to users are clear, medically sound, and aligned with real-world practice. His calm, patient-centered approach adds value to our ongoing mission to make healthcare more accessible and reliable online.

Dr. Sue Verma, MD, MSc, MBA, FFPM – Senior Medical Advisor

Sue VermaDr. Sue Verma is a highly accomplished doctor, pharmaceutical physician, and surgical specialist with a unique combination of clinical, academic, and industry experience. She began her career in the UK National Health Service (NHS), working extensively in surgery, respiratory, and renal medicine, before transitioning into the pharmaceutical industry, where she has spent over a decade leading projects across multiple therapeutic areas in increasingly senior roles.

She holds a medical degree from the University of London, a Master’s in Surgical Technology from Imperial College London, and is also a qualified dental surgeon and Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Dr. Verma further expanded her expertise with a prestigious Global Executive MBA from TRIUM (a joint program between LSE, NYU, and HEC Paris), and completed her Global Clinical Research Scholar Training with distinction at Harvard Medical School.

Trinity Marsh, MPharm, PGDip – Pharmacist

Trinity MarshTrinity Marsh is an experienced hospital pharmacist with a solid background in inpatient care, patient safety, and collaborative work across multidisciplinary teams. She holds a Master of Pharmacy from the University of Kent and completed a Postgraduate Clinical Diploma at Keele University. Over the past several years, Trinity has worked across some of the UK’s most respected NHS Trusts, including Royal Free London, King’s College Hospital, and South London and Maudsley, where she specialized in complex areas such as stroke care, surgery, cardiology, elderly care, and neurology.

Her roles have also involved supervising pharmacy students and junior pharmacists, ensuring high standards of practice and mentoring future healthcare professionals. Known for her commitment to safe and efficient patient care, Trinity brings both technical expertise and a compassionate approach to her work.

Naira Ghanem, MPharm – Pharmacist and Educator

Naira GhanemNaira Ghanem is a passionate clinical pharmacist and educator who loves making healthcare more accessible and engaging. After graduating from UCL School of Pharmacy, she gained hands-on experience in hospital settings at University Hospital Southampton and Imperial College Healthcare, where she focused on medicines advice and patient care. She also spent several years teaching pharmacy students at Kingston University, sharing her knowledge and supporting the next generation of pharmacists.

Now part of our team, Naira blends her healthcare expertise with a passion for education to help create clear, reliable health content. She’s especially interested in pharmacy practice, global health, and making sure patients feel informed and confident in their care.

Waqas Jamil, MPharm – Pharmacist

Waqas JamilWaqas Jamil is a pharmacist with a strong background in oncology, haematology, and hospital-based care. After earning his Master’s in Pharmacy from Kingston University, he pursued further qualifications at UCL and Keele University, deepening his expertise in managing complex therapies and healthcare leadership. His experience spans respected institutions such as The Royal Marsden, Barts Health NHS Trust, and Royal Liverpool, where he played key roles in both frontline care and service development.

Within our staff, Waqas brings a calm, focused presence and a passion for clear, patient-centred communication. He supports therapeutic guidance with real clinical insight, shaped by years on the ward. His work reflects a rare balance of precision and empathy—making him a trusted voice for both colleagues and patients navigating treatment decisions.

Georgina Salami, MSc, MPharm – Pharmacist

Georgina SalamiGeorgina Salami is a dedicated and meticulous pharmacist with a strong focus on patient care, medication safety, and collaborative treatment planning. A graduate of the University of Brighton, she holds a Master of Science in Pharmacy and has built a solid foundation in secondary care, where she has addressed complex drug-related issues and supported multidisciplinary teams with informed recommendations on drug therapies and dosing strategies.

Her strengths lie in her ability to analyze clinical data, assess patient responses to medications, and contribute meaningfully to the improvement of health outcomes. With excellent communication and interpersonal skills, she works closely with patients to ensure understanding, adherence, and optimal therapeutic results.
